Papers, books, reports and other science communication materials are good means to convey ecological information to change the world.

But this is not enough. Scientists need to speak up and engage with the real world beyond their written accounts on sustainability.
​
Putting knowledge to influence transformations requires a renewed culture of citizen engagement and entrepreneurship in the policy sphere through various technologies.
​
The combined power of scientific reasoning and artistic imagination elicits our capacity to connect with each other with passion but also rigor, and thus heal human-nature relations with knowledge and affection.
​
I therefore work with friends at several local, national and international knowledge-to-action networks & organizations to foster an ever more concerned and concerted community of Ocean stewards.
